Welcome!
"Animations are really powerful - it's not just entertainment, it's a very cunning way to get good ideas across."
To many, art is a medium that evokes deep emotions within us. To others, it is something pleasing to enjoy. Whether one choses to indulge their appreciation for art through paintings, literature, or music, the experience one goes through when connecting with an emotionally significant piece of art is unforgettable. That is what animation is for me. As a child, I was fascinated by the process and behind-the-scene production of the cartoon shows you'd see on TV. And my appreciation for it grew as I got older and learned about a similar process in game production.
Now as an adult, I start to take more notice of what goes on in social media when new releases of animated films, short films, and video games come out and the studios behind them. More importantly, the reactions of the targeted audiences of each. Social media allows the consumers of this media to voice their opinion and criticisms of these projects. As a result, many go viral and create an even larger consumer base over time. As a result, many large studio brands now gain a massive following for these products.
In this sense, as important as the quality of the art used in the production of a film or video game, the story behind it plays a large role in how the media is perceived by the general audience. And on some occasions, the controversies surrounding the brand or studio also plays an influential role as well. This served as the motivation behind my blog.
In this blog, I will be reporting on and summarizing significant news and updates on upcoming and popular releases and the public reactions to them from other social media sites like X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok.
